This is Frankie an ex Poorpaws pup – who has grown somewhat since he left us two years ago! Frankie has been missing now for a couple of weeks (15.09.12) and, quite naturally, his owners are getting more and more worried. One thing, there seems to be a lot of dogs going missing at the moment so please make sure your dogs are identified. You can also set up pet cameras in your home to keep an eye on them when you are away, read more about pet cameras here. The chip is obligatory but the best method to get your dog back is by having your telephone number (NOT THE DOG’S NAME !) written on his collar in indelible marker pen. Pale coloured collars or red show up the number best. Whilst people may not always bother to take a dog to a vet to see if he/she is chipped, most will make a telephone call if there is a number visible.
